To the Indigenous Peoples:
The contemporary absorption and integration of the indigenous spiritualist technologies, of the practices and memes of the shamans, point in the direction of the re-sacralization of nature, of a renewed alliance of humankind and nature (the sacrament is a plant), of a naturalist and eco-humanist religiosity. This peculiar orientation has remained continuous, without intervals, in indigenous cultures, and, therefore, in this mystery in search of reintegration, the indigenous traditions are instructors, they represent the link that transmits the discipline, the methods and teachings necessary to heal the dichotomies of global culture; they act as therapeutic elements. Since the intensity of the dysfunctions is severe — evidenced by the magnitude and constancy of the conflicts and disagreements registered throughout history — beyond the doctrine of forests, plains and mountains, we need, in order to heal, a medicine, a doctrine and a remedy, like the two pillars of a temple. The doctrine is pagan, preceding the advent of salvationist religiosities, and the remedy is natural, carried by the indigenous tradition: to it we owe much, we are deeply grateful.
