General Strategy

SOCIEDADE PANTEÍSTA AYAHUASCA

General Strategy of Operation:

We provide a tranquil, relaxed and joyful environment, a quality space-time, open, where it is possible to express ideas, thoughts and feelings freely, in an orderly and gentle manner. We strive to deepen friendship and union among participants, and to stimulate intuitiveness, reason, common sense, tolerance and creativity.

In the Sociedade Panteísta Ayahuasca, the leader of the works is called a 'facilitator' and is at the service of people who are encouraged to qualify themselves for such a function. During ceremonies, members are preferably seated in a circle. A facilitator is chosen to lead the works, which take place in a defined order and ritual to allow better integration and participation. Some ancestral practices used by indigenous peoples have been incorporated to enrich the works.

We have designed several types of Ceremonies:

REGULAR CEREMONIES: here, we dedicate space both for contemplation — in search of illuminating and integrative experiences — and for meditation and reflection. The most commonly addressed subjects fall into various categories such as: the essentials of spirituality, of the indigenous and primordial worldview, like that of ancient Ionia; reflections on the structure and meaning of reality; thoughts on nature and the vital phenomenon; understanding regarding human situations and resulting meanings; exchange of ideas on the nature of knowledge, perception, cognition, consciousness and evolution.

ANNUAL CEREMONIES: these are usually commemorative — with appropriate symbolism for each occasion — and scheduled at certain times of the year such as the summer and winter solstices and the equinoxes.

CREATIVE CEREMONIES: designed with the intention of taking maximum advantage of the effects of Ayahuasca — such as: intuitions, ideations, mystical experiences, expansion of imagination (capacity to see previously unknown images), creative integration of capacities, increased sensitivity, and to test new ways of use, including during the performance or appreciation of artistic activities.

We can consider all Ceremonies as 'healing', since healing is a re-creative process toward a better state of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. Consecrating nature, pantheism in general, the Sociedade Panteísta Ayahuasca seeks to rectify important conceptual divisions (between the sacred and the world, religion and science), enabling, once well assimilated and understood, the emergence of three tendencies toward unification, creativity and ethics.

UNIFICATION, through the intuitive and direct recognition (the mystical 'reconnecting') of our unity with the Universe and all beings.

CREATIVITY, through our absolute and immediate integration and identification with the divine and creative Universe.

ETHICS, through the understanding that we are simply part of nature and certainly not its center, end, motive or purpose.
